3. Third-party services
QUO uses the following external services to function properly:
Firebase (Google)
- Firebase Crashlytics: Collects anonymous error reports to improve app stability. Includes technical device information but no personally identifiable data.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging: Manages push notifications. Google processes device tokens to deliver notifications.

OpenStreetMap
- Maps: We display maps using data from OpenStreetMap, a collaborative free mapping project.
- Nominatim: We use this service to convert addresses to coordinates and vice versa. Place searches are sent to their servers.

OpenAI (Moderation)
- Content moderation: Public messages and chat messages are analyzed using OpenAI's moderation API to detect inappropriate content (hate, harassment, violence, etc.). Only the message text is sent, without personally identifiable data.

Device services
- GPS: We access your device's location only with your explicit permission.
- Voice recognition: Voice dictation uses your device's native services (Google on Android, Apple on iOS). Audio is processed by these services according to their policies.
- Contacts: We only access your contacts if you enable the sharing feature, and only to display names locally.
4. How long we keep your data
- Public messages: As long as they exist or until you delete them
- Private messages: Until you delete them
- Account: Until you request deletion
- Technical data: Maximum 90 days
5. Who can see your information
- Public messages: Any QUO user near that location
- Shared messages: Only contacts you share with
- Private messages: Only you
- Your exact location: No one but you (we only use approximate zones)
Important: We never show your exact location to other users. Messages are associated with places, not people.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access: See what data we have about you
- Rectification: Correct inaccurate data
- Deletion: Delete your account and all your data
- Portability: Export your data
- Objection: Limit how we use your data

7. Child safety
- QUO is intended for users 18 years and older
- We use automated systems to detect inappropriate content
